Sunshine for ages 7 to 11
When teaching our Sunshine classes, we know how crucial it is to begin with topics that our learners can relate to, so we start with topics that are familiar and close to our Sunshine groups. They will be able to use the language effectively. Our students at this stage will be able to read, write short sentences and introduce themselves and others.
Our learners will be encouraged to take more responsibility for their learning, they will do more reading, listening, and of course practice to write across a wide range of different and interesting topics. We focus in depth on specific language skills such as, spellings, word formatting, short sentences, grammar, punctuation, and story ideas, join our classes and let’s play and learn.
Moonbeams for ages 4 to 6
We recognise how our young learners absorb the wonders of any language so why not study with us English. We turn learning into a creative and playful journey as our young learners sing, act and play their spongy minds absorb English without the regiment lecturing style we teach interactively through play. We know teaching English to young learners must be acquired through building up their language skills and confidence, our Moonbeams lessons are fun and educational.
What will our Moonbeams learn? Phonics, numbers, colours, shapes, sizes, about my family, about my house, feelings, our moonbeams daily activities, days of the week, months, seasons, and the weather, our food and much more so join our classes and lets play and learn.
Young adults 11 to 16
Unlike children, teenage learners have their own preferred learning styles that have been incorporated into them from an early age, here at Hope Academy we recognise that young adults go through a unique transformation period of development and growth in their lives, as they transform from a child to a young adult. Teenage learners face different challenges, as they are trying to understand, learn and make sense of themselves, who they are as young adults, finding their feet into the adult world, learning about their communities, extending to the world around them. Therefore, we noticed that adolescence learners thrive on solving problems and making an impact.
